These conditions must be adhered to by all users & advertisers on SouthBristol.co.uk. In using this site you are automatically subject to, and agree to, these conditions, where they apply to you or your organisation.
If you have any concerns or questions regarding these terms of use conditions, we are to be contacted directly, by phone, email or in writing.
Listing of a business on SouthBristol.co.uk does not constitute an endorsement. We have not tested the services of businesses listed, and so we cannot, and do not, vouch for their services.
SouthBristol.co.uk accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any third-party content.
The South Bristol Directory is not responsible for any loss of revenue or custom should the site not be accessible for any duration.
We cannot guarantee that you will always be able to access the website. We will not be considered liable for interruptions or delays to access, whatever the cause.
Free listings may be removed at any time, without warning. Website links are only provided on free links where a recipricol link is placed on your website.
We can not guarantee that advertisers will receive increased custom, or traffic to their site.
After the pre-paid 12 months of listing, listings not renewed within 21days may be removed or downgraded
Advertisers are responsible for the content of their adverts. This includes, but is not limited to, owning the copyright, or having permission, for any photography or artwork displayed.
Any advertiser's content deemed, by us, to be indecent or inappropriate may be refused or removed at any time.
We reserve the right to edit or amend advert content to meet our listing guidelines, this includes but is not limited to listing description (maximum length), and image size (maximum width displayed on the site currently is 486px, maximum height is 90px, other banners can be considered though may be subject to cropping).
We adhere to the Data Protection Act 1998 and as such handle client data in a responsible and exclusively purposeful way.
You agree to be contacted by email with regards to all account matters, and that for the purposes of account maintenance you cannot be removed from our Mailing List.
Listing updates:
You may request a change of any image that makes up your listing on no more than 6 occasions throughout a 12 month advertisement period.
You may request text/detail changes on upto 8 occasions throughout a 12month period. Free listing text/detail may only be updated on 4 occassions
You must advise us should your contact details change, this includes: Address, Coverage, Telephone Numbers, Email address, Website address.
Should your website cease to be accessible for a significant period, your listing may be removed.
Paid Advertising
All paid advertising is non-refundable.
Payment for adverts placed, will be due within 7 days of the advert being listed.
Failure to make payment within our time limits will result in an immediate suspension of services.
Failure to make payment within 14 days from receipt by email of an 'Overdue Payment' will result in your listing being removed or downgraded
Should you cease to provide the services advertised with us, we are released from any obligation to supply you with advertising and your listing will be removed.
We reserve the right to vary policy & scope of these conditions without notice at any time. All changes will be reflected on this web page.
Current Special Offer
All paid advertising recieved before October 31st 2007 will benefit from their listing remaining live until January 31st 2009.
